Here we are in the middle of 2010. We have a President who is just out of control. Every time he opens his mouth, he can't help but lie his butt off. For example, if you do a little search, the man has given umpteen speeches announcing his intentions of "not resting until..." and then fill in the blank; until the leak is plugged, until everyone has a job, until we catch these terrorists, until things get better... and every time he talks about a crisis, he promises he and his administration won't rest. Then he proceeds to go golfing, host concerts, take trips to Hawaii, play basketball, throw out the first pitch at baseball games, try some putting on the White House south lawn. What a joke.
Former President Bush was golfing when a staffer had to come and tell him of an attack in Iraq. W. swore off golf while our troops were in combat. He felt it sent the wrong message for the Commander in Chief to be out golfing while our troops are being shot at. Now that's true leadership.
Obama recently discussed the tension between he and the Israeli Prime Minister Netenyahu have had recently. Obama says there is no issue, yet reports came out of the March meeting that Obama left his chief ally in the Middle East to go eat dinner in private. The Israeli delegation actually chose to leave the WH because they thought Obama may have bugged them. You don't have to go to Fox News.com to see this, how about The (London) Times (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article7076431.ece) But in Obama's world, there is no issue.
And it turns out government run health care will actually cost more than promised. And remember the very sincere promise from B. Hussein, "If you like your insurance you can keep it. Period!"? Well in a leaked memo from Kathaleen Sebalius, Secretary of HHS, the bill gives her the authority to write the regulations.
“The midrange estimate is that 66% of small employer plans and 45% of large employer plans will relinquish their grandfathered status by the end of 2013..."
"In the worst-case scenario, 69% of employers — 80% of smaller firms — would lose that status, exposing them to far more provisions under the new health law.”
Another Obama lie. Period!
In his speech on immigration reform, he cites that there are 11 million illegal aliens. While most estimates are much, much higher. But for the sake of argument, let's take him at his word. 11 million? That's a lot of people. If that figure is accurate, it doesn't make me feel any better, yet he throws it out there as if to say, 'the problem isn't that bad, there are only 11 million illegals'.
If you are not outraged at what is going on, you are just not paying attention.
